This is an easy dessert which can be made a few days in advance and kept refrigerated.
1) The roll could be cut into 27 roundels.
2) You can use any plain biscuit (without cream). I used arrowroot biscuits.
3) Jaggery can be replaced with sugar.
4) I browned butter a bit to get a nutty flavour.

75 Gm.s | Jaggery grated / powdered |
0.5 Tsp. | Cinnamon powder |
200 Gm.s | Biscuits, coarsely crushed |
200 Gm.s | Dates, stoned and chopped finely |
1 No. | Egg, beaten |
1) Melt butter in a pan.
2) Stir in jaggery & cook till melted, stirring.
3) Add dates and let it cook for a minute or two.
4) Remove from flame & add in the egg, stirring vigorously, so that egg is not scrambled. The egg will cook by the heat from butter-jaggery mix.
5) Add biscuit mix and cinnamon.
6) Mix well to form dough.
70 Shape into a roll/ log.
8) Wrap in aluminium foil or cling wrap. Chill for about 4 hours.
9)Take out & cut into roundels.
Can be served with icecream or any fruit sauce.
